About Emmanuel Dockter

Emmanuel Dockter is a partner with the Boston law firm of Baum & Dockter, concentrating his practice in the areas of complex divorce matters and custody disputes both at the trial and appellate levels.

An honors graduate of Boston University School of Law and veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Emmanuel understands the immense responsibility and trust that comes with representing a client through what is often the most difficult time in their life.

Emmanuel is dedicated to guiding his clients through the divorce process in the most painless and cost-effective manner possible. While an experienced courtroom litigator and advocate, Emmanuel always attempts to resolve cases through rational negotiation. Too often, spouses in divorce cases are dragged through costly extended legal battles with only the attorneys ending up as the winners. Emmanuel understands this and keeps his clients practical needs as his guiding principle.

In addition to his direct client representation through the firm, Emmanuel is committed to giving back to the community by providing legal representation to underprivileged families through the Senior Partners for Justice Initiative of the Boston Bar Association.
