About Emmanuel Dockter

Attorney Emmanuel Dockter is a partner with the Boston law firm of Baum & Dockter, concentrating his practice in high-conflict divorce matters and custody disputes both at the trial and appellate levels.  As an honors graduate of Boston University School of Law and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Emmanuel understands the immense responsibility and trust that comes with representing a client through what is often the most difficult time in their life.

Spouses in divorce cases typically go through costly, extended legal battles with only the attorneys as the winners. Emmanuel is dedicated to guiding his clients through the divorce process in the most painless and cost-effective manner possible. While he is an experienced courtroom litigator and advocate, Emmanuel always attempts to resolve cases through rational negotiation.

In addition to his client representation, Emmanuel serves as a trained Guardian ad Litem, drawing on his experience with complex, high-conflict child-related matters.  He also gives back to the community by providing legal representation to under-privileged families through the Senior Partners for Justice Initiative of the Boston Bar Association.
